The ability of from human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) to generate tissue-specific organoids has highlighter their use in applications ranging disease modelling to drug safety testing.
My master thesis project is focused on the generation of complex hPSC-derived kidney organoids in a 3D environment. The objective is to create kidney organoids with multiple cell types that are able to model drug-injury responses.
